- Event Information -

  • Some events have preliminaries and finals, others are just finals.

  • All preliminary events are on the first day (Saturday's (schedule). Final events are mostly on the second day (Sunday's schedule), with a few on the first day.

  • The athletes who compete in the prelims are not required to compete in the finals (you can switch athletes in and out of prelims and finals).

  • An older runner can usually run a younger runner's event, but not visa versa. A woman can sometimes be substituted for a man (in a relay that is).

  • A person can run in up to four final events. Up to three of those final events can be running events (any others must be field events).

  • In addition to the usual relays below, there is a non-scoring Kid's run on the second day, Sunday.

These are the suggested types and number of people needed for the preliminary events on the first day. Read the actual track and field event rules to see their specific requirements.

An older runner can usually run a younger runner's event, but not visa versa. A woman can sometimes be substituted for a man (in a relay that is).

For example, the Pyramid relay team will be two women of any age running 400m each, two men any age each running 800m, and another man any age running a 1200m.

2 - One of these two runners must be 35 or older and only runs 2400m (6 laps).
* - Total athlete count per team for either Team Jump or Team Throw is 2-3, regardless of gender.
