The USCAA is pleased to announce that the consulting firm Booz-Allen & Hamilton has issued a third annual Charity Cup Challenge in conjunction with this year’s USCAA National Championship, July 25-26. The Charity Cup Challenge raises funds for the Make-A-Wish Foundation®, which enriches the lives of children and their families by ensuring that wishes are granted to children with terminal illnesses or life-threatening medical conditions.

The Challenge is simple: whichever team raises the most funds per team member will take home the commemorative engraved traveling trophy. In addition, individual fund-raisers may be eligible for prizes. Over $24,000 was raised by the Charity Cup Challenge over the last two years. With your help, we can make this year’s success even more spectacular. Be creative.

The USCAA supports this effort to dedicate ourselves to the spirit of service, excellence, and opportunity both on and off the track. I encourage you to enlist your team members in this year’s Charity Cup Challenge, and to start making plans for how your team can raise funds for the Make-A-Wish Foundation® in this charity competition. For suggestions on how to organize your team’s participation, feel free to contact Gordon Smith at (703) 808-5409.

Please join us in this effort.

Sincerely,

Sometimes the best medicine might just be a wish come true.
"Your event will make a difference. Your support will make wishes come true for children who face the greatest challenges of their lives. On behalf of the children we serve, I thank you."
